Stepping Into
GROHE

My Role
My journey at GROHE began in the Digital Content & Experience team, where I worked at the intersection of design, technology, and digital storytelling. I contributed to interactive experiences across digital and physical platforms, including UX/UI design, AR/VR applications, WebGL experiences, cross-platform content creation, and overall user experience.
I later became part of the wider Brand Experience team, where my work expanded with a stronger focus on brand identity, visual communication, and experience design across Europe markets. Alongside creative projects and international collaborations, I contributed to GROHE's evolving digital presence through website development, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling.
Digital
Platforms
GROHE X – Award-Winning
Digital Experience Platform
GROHE X was GROHE’s global digital experience platform, combining storytelling, product communication, immersive content, and hybrid event experiences into one ecosystem. With its innovative approach to digital brand experience, GROHE X received several awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, Digital Communication Awards, and Galaxy Awards.

My contribution
As part of GROHE's Digital Content & Experience team, I contributed to GROHE X through creative concept development, UX/UI design, content strategy, and digital storytelling. I was closely involved in developing GROHE X Originals, from brainstorming content ideas and exploring new formats to creating engaging digital stories around architecture, sustainability, and technology.
My work also included developing content playbooks and guidelines for Europe markets, helping maintain a consistent brand experience across different regions. I collaborated with internal departments, external partners, and clients to showcase their projects and perspectives through engaging visual and editorial content on GROHE X.
Alongside this, I contributed to the platform's ongoing development through web page design, content management, and interactive experiences. I also worked on AR/VR applications and WebGL experiences, exploring new ways to bring GROHE's products and brand stories to life through interactive content.

GROHE's New Digital Platform
As GROHE's digital ecosystem evolved, a new global website was developed to bring together GROHE X and several other GROHE digital platforms into one unified website.
I was involved in the early concept development phase, collaborating closely with the websites team on UX/UI design, content structure, and digital storytelling to help shape a consistent and engaging user experience.
Virtual
Showrooms
GROHE Virtual Showrooms are interactive browser-based experiences designed to showcase GROHE products within realistic and inspiring living spaces. The virtual showrooms offer users an innovative way to explore products and experience the brand beyond traditional product catalogs.

My contribution
During my time at GROHE, I contributed to the development of the GROHE Virtual Showrooms, working on WebGL applications and enhancing the existing virtual showrooms through the integration of AR features. My work focused on creating interactive product experiences and extending the showrooms with web-based augmented reality functionality. This allowed users to move beyond exploring products inside the virtual showroom and experience selected products in their own physical space.

WeekWAFISH
During my time at GROHE as a working student, I had the opportunity to collaborate with internationally recognized design studios and international colleagues, supporting digital communication and brand experiences for major international events, including Milan Design Week, GROHE X Summit, World Architecture Festival, and ISH.
My contribution included digital storytelling, brand communication, and content creation across both on-site experiences and digital platforms. Working across different teams and touchpoints, my focus was on maintaining a consistent visual identity and creating a connected brand experience.
